Zameer's life has traversed continents, spanning Canada, India, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, and Australia, creating a tapestry of diverse experiences. His academic journey includes securing an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Honours) in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Toronto. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, he obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Murdoch University in Western Australia.

 

His professional journey commenced by contributing to impactful outreach programs in Zambia, where he supported psychiatric patients, received training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and achieved certification in HIV counselling. In Canada, he collaborated closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, actively involved in developing assessment tools and conducting life skills workshops.

Living amidst varied cultures has enriched Zameer's understanding of diverse languages, lifestyles, and behavioural patterns across various communities. He holds certifications in various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, and HIV counselling, honing his expertise in providing comprehensive support.
 

Zameer's late diagnosis of ADHD provided invaluable insights into the complexities of the human mind, fueling innovative techniques in psychotherapy. His approach is characterised by warmth, compassion, and a client-centred ethos, aiming to empower individuals through evidence-based practices.

 

Specializing in supporting adults and children dealing with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Zameer also focuses on addressing stress, depression, and anxiety. He employs evidence-based trauma treatments to assist those affected by childhood or relational trauma.

 

His practice integrates Mindfulness-based practices, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individual needs.
